NOTE: Photographs taken today with the high mega-pixel camera show more than we sometimes can see with the human eye. Magnified close-ups show us tool marks and natural surface conditions that one normally doesn't see in the ordinary handling of the weapon.  Photographs are copyrighted, all rights reserved, any extraction, reproduction or display of gun pictures without the express consent of the Phoenix Investment Arms is strictly prohibited. Thank you for your cooperation.

This is a 9mm (9x19) Semi-Automatic Parabellum made in replication of the Beretta Mod 51 under license from Beretta. It has a 4.5" barrel; and the finish is a deep blue and well done. This is a chance to have a new in box duplicate of the Beretta for at 1/3 the cost of the originals.

Maadi (Arabic: المعادي‎ / transliterated: el-Ma‛adi) is a wealthy suburb south of Cairo, Egypt.  Maadi made  a good AK variant. The originals (pre-ban in 1982) were imported by Styer-Daimler-Puch of New Jersey and had the full auto bolt carriers in them. The ATF quickly stopped that, but an estimated 1500 made it in. They were later imported with semi auto carriers both by Steyr and later by another importer who didn't use the same high standards. They are stamped receivers and it is said, they are as close to a Russian AKM as you can get. They are made in Cairo on actual Russian equipment.

This gun is new in box and comes with all the accessories.  The importation if marked from the World of Lugers., Mayfield Ohio and were imported and stored since 1996.
These are single with the ability to thumb cock the gun or fire with a complete trigger pull. The magazine is straight stacked 8 round with the ability for another in the chamber.
The weapon is equipped with an open top slide and a short recoil operated falling block system. The pistol was Beretta's first locked breech pistol on the market, (previous semi-automatic pistols were all blow-backs) and was produced in limited production circa 1953 and in full scale production in 1956 until 1980.

The M1951 was produced and manufactured by Beretta for strictly military use and was then adopted by the Italian navy, army, and law enforcement agencies, Israel, Egypt, Nigeria, and Tunisia armed forces. By license, Egypt (the 'Helwan' produced by Maadi) and Iraq (the 'Tariq') made precise replicas of the Beretta M1951.

This is a very unusual find in an estate sale for a semi automatic handgun in 9mm with an 8 round magazine capacity. The gun is offered for only $595.00 new-in-box for cash customers over the counter, credit card +(Cash Adjusted) Insurance & Shipping. Call josef@phoenixinvestmentarms.com
